Grace Nursery School, located at Grace Methodist Church, is now accepting applications its new Pre-K program for the 2008-2009 year (September 2008 through May 2009). The new five-day-a-week pre-K program will be held Monday through Friday from 12:15 to 2:45 p.m. Grace will continue to offer traditional three and four year old nursery school classes. Grace Nursery School offers quality learning experiences taught by an experienced teaching staff. The curriculum includes a library program, art, French lessons, music, hands on science, a computer program, field trips, and more. The South End Elementary School (SEES) Parent Teacher Organization invites residents of greater Southington to its PROJECT PLAYSCAPE Kickoff Event, a lunch at Outback Steakhouse on April 12 at 11:30 am Tickets are $25 per person, and include a 6 oz. sirloin steak plus a 5 oz. chicken breast. The meal also includes garlic mashed potatoes, Caesar or ranch salad, honey wheat bread, and soft drinks, coffee or tea. Ticket sales are limited to 200 attendees.
